Design thinking and workshops
In order to be able to analyze, specify and present the users' needs in a usable way, a wide variety of methods from design thinking were applied. Iteratively, we approached new ideas and concrete design solutions.
Concepts and designs
Sketch, design, discard, take away findings and start again. Rapid prototyping was one of our most important tools in the design process of new user-friendly interfaces.
Prototyping and user testing
"We are not the user" - Low- and high-fidelity prototypes were continuously tested internally and with real users. The resulting findings flowed directly back into new concepts and revised prototypes. We also built cardboard prototypes to make our ideas more tangible and easier to imagine.
Results
Working at Olympus Winter & Ibe, we strived to support and enhance users' workflows through smart software. Ease of use of digital user interfaces, meaningful additions and emotional value not only creates more fun in daily operations, but saves valuable life time and money.
