Case Study
Kombiverkehr • 2020/22
Kombiverkehr is a logistics service company that develops, organizes and markets a Europe-wide network for combined rail-road transport.
Important information was located in different places and presentations were overly complex. Simplification, consolidation of information and support for mobile devices were the main tasks.
Key contributions • Lead Design, Concept and Interface Design
We've developed a whole new web and mobile portal experience for managing, monitoring and working with shipments between road and rail.
Design componentens and patterns ready for maintain consistency.
Saved time in handling tracking and tracing of shipments.
Shipments are better readable and easier to consume.
Using existing patterns
We used commonly known and simple ux patterns and ui components for solving very complex tasks. Sometimes you don't need to invent the wheel again.
Agile wins
The whole teams was managed by a very good agile leader. We also incorporated the agility into the design workflow of the customer.
Design is not democratic
A small team of managers, developer and designer decided quick about the outcome and the final result of the design. Only people who need to be involved were involved. Very target-oriented.
